ABOUT
Jonathan William Key, born in Tupelo, Mississppi in the late 80's was raised an hour north in the city of Corinth, MS. He graduated Corinth High School with the Class of 2006. He continued to pursue his dreams to work in the music production industry which led him to Murfreesboro, TN. There he attended Middle Tenneesee State University, majoring in Mass Communications and minoring in Theatre. In mid-2009, he was invited to the set of a music video, in Watertown, TN, by a mutual-friend, 1st Assistant Camera. The opportunity to work on music videos had been a lifelong dream.
Jonathan, continued to pursue his dream in the field of video production by accepting an internship with a local Nashville production company- Revolution Pictures. The Executive Producer /owner of Revolution gave Jonathan his first real shot at making his dream career a reality. Jonathan later worked for Revolution as Website Content manager until he got his feet under him as a full-time freelancer. Jonathan worked as a Production Assistant on many notable music videos, commercials, and films. He began transitioning his career from a Production Assistant to a Grip and Lighting Technician in the year 2011. Jonathan has worked on multiple award winning projects.
